2019 January 15 Tuesday

2019 January 15 Tuesday in Liberty Hill and Cedar Park, Texas

41° and deeply overcast, it looks and feels like winter even though it isn't really that cold. Somehow it managed to reach 48°today.

For breakfast I opened one package of the 72 hour emergency survival food that arrived in yesterday's mail. We had one serving each of Cinnamon Sugar Oatmeal. That leaves six servings in the pack. There is also potato soup and mac and cheese in the pouch. That's not much variety ... but hey it's to keep you nourished for 72 hours and it will do that. The oatmeal was great, by the way, not too sweet, which was something I feared with a presweetened food. I look forward tho trying the soup and mac and cheese.

We did more laundry today. I mentioned the last time that we missed getting some throws (lap blankets) washed. They are done now. We wanted to get this little chore done before Ella has her surgery tomorrow.

Late this afternoon the hospital finally called to tell us when we need to arrive tomorrow. Five in the morning. That's about what time I had thought it would be.

No sunrise and no sunset photos today. The sun was ano show.

7pm prayer meeting tonight. Laying on of hands and anointing with oil before surgery seemed like a wonderful idea.

God bless you.
