60° and cloudy sky to start the day. I tried the get a photo of the sun peeking through the clouds. However, by the time my phone was in my hands, the sun was gone.
Up and to the orthopedic surgeon this morning for a Medicare required pre surgery consult. Ella had only one question, "Will it hurt?" The doctor said no. She will send one night in the hospital. She will wear a sling for a week but will be able to use used her hands to play games on her phone and scratch her nose. An in home nurse will work her physical therapy.
In other news, the stomach bug has jumped from Ella to me. However, she is not 100% free of it either. 2 people puking and ... well, you know. One count them) bathroom. What do you do? We were prepared. We have a camping toilet. Alright, it's a 5 gallon bucket, a garbage bag, and a plastic toilet seat. But it worked for many years of tent camping.
